Sahlia Jewelry is a study in organic shapes, mixed metals and breezy, cool-girl vibes. Working closely with owner and designer Sahlia Michelle, I lead the brand on marketing and creative projects, including web design, copywriting, social media, events and photo shoot production and styling. I considered each project an extension of the jewelry, and designed them with the same elegant simplicity in mind.

Working closely with the owner and designer of Sahlia Jewelry, I led the brand on brand storytelling projects, paying special attention to the intersection of design and language. Using a playful, dreamy tone and poetic imagery, we told the story of Sahlia Jewelry on social media, blogs and emails, as well as in-person events like music festivals and design fairs.

Keeping with the brand’s general philosophy of breezy beauty and simplicity, I designed the Sahlia Jewelry webpage to be bright, spare and easy to navigate. When writing Sahlia Jewelry website copy, I kept the tone relaxed, a little magical and rounded out by technical metalwork details.

Double Blade Ring:

The Double Blade ring is as fun as it is dangerous. Hand pounded in thick-gage sterling silver and finished with our signature sterling silver barbells and oxidized edge. Wear with care! Each Sahlia Jewelry piece is made with care in Portland, Oregon. Expect natural variations due to the handmade nature of the jewelry. The unique finishes and patinas are all done by hand and will grow more beautiful with wear over time.

Crescent Moon Hoop:

A variation of the beloved hoop earring, these beauties are inspired by the upward-crescent shape of the moon as seen from the tropics. A hand-formed sterling-silver hoop frames the hand-pounded rose or white-bronze plate. Choose from oxidized (all black) finish or a partially oxidized fade along the lower rim. A pair of our signature sterling silver barbells connect the plate to the hoop.
