SOCK IT TO ME

SOCK IT TO ME

Portland-based sock and underwear company Sock It to Me exists in a world where images of rainbow-expelling unicorns are classics and where cats don't eat bugs, but rather ask how they got their beautiful wings. And then make socks about it.

Inspired by the Classic Superhero

For this video, the team was inspired by the outrageousness of superhero movie trailers—with the outsized announcer voice and proclamations of epic proportions—and wanted to replicate that vibe for the brand’s new underwear line. I worked with SuperGreat Video to contribute to the writing and development of the script as well as location and styling of the video.

Sockumentary

Sloth socks. Ninja socks. Socks with a narwal arguing—nay—fighting, with a unicorn. A dinosaur shaped like a taco.

The playful world view of Sock It to Me preceded the current emoji-everything trend, and will outlive it, considering the brand’s loyal worldwide following. I worked with the guys SuperGreat Video as stylist for this short company Sockumentary.
